Dy’er Sez: This statement was made by chief public health officer Dr. David Butler-Jones, who told reporters at the National Microbiology Laboratory in Winnipeg, “My goal is to have 100 per cent of Canadians (vaccinated)”. He also went on to add, “At the end of the day, it is an individual choice. (But) if you don’t want H1N1, get the vaccine.”
Apparently Dr. Butler seems to be under the impression that people who are immune-compromised, have allergic reactions to vaccines, have already had the virus, or have any other medical, personal, or religious reason not to take the vaccination should still be immunized. Or perhaps he thinks that ‘those’ sorts of people simply don’t live in Canada. Either way, this statement doesn’t seem like one that should be made by a learned doctor of medicine, much less the Canadian health minister.
But then again, maybe he is the greatest doctor in the world, as he seems to have some sort of strange, svengali-like insight into the apparent fact (at least in his mind) that everyone who is not vaccinated will most assuredly get the swine flu. To have a position of major influence and use it to spew out such obviously fallacious rhetoric is not just irresponsible, but downright criminal given the situation. It’s like screaming FIRE in a crowded theater…after using crazy-glue on all the exit doors.
This is yet another story that has come out about the swine flu vaccine which makes me wonder why the powers-that-be are pushing so hard for people to get vaccinated. Considering all the research, news reports, and simple facts (like the vaccine is untested for safety, that the side effects can be disastrous or even lethal, that the swine flu is turning out to be more fear-mongering than pandemic, and so on) there is certainly room to pause in thought on whether these ‘leaders’ really have our best interest in mind or if there is something more insidious in the works.
Story from Prison Planet:
Canadian Health Minister Wants 100% Of Population H1N1 Vaccinated
Goal is to get everyone to take the jab before Christmas
Despite national polls indicating that only one third of Canadians intend to get the H1N1 flu vaccine, a Federal Health Minister says it is the government’s goal to vaccinate 100% of the population.
“My goal is to have 100 per cent of Canadians (vaccinated),” chief public health officer Dr. David Butler-Jones told reporters at the National Microbiology Laboratory in Winnipeg.
The minister stated that the vaccine will be rolled out in the first week of November, with the goal of vaccinating everyone by the end of December.
“No step is going to be skipped,” the health minister pledged. Once the vaccine is approved, it will be shipped to the provinces and territories and local health authorities will operate immunization programs
